Description
This image does not use any bitmap heightfield, or any DEM. It is entirely procedural.
I'm are currently working on erosion fractal, i.e. fractal that takes your landscape, and makes eroded landscape from it. It is at relatively early stage of development, but is already capable of making very realistic procedural terrains.
Rendered using mojoworld, volumetrics, and landscape uses indevelopment erosion fractal plugin.
Minor postwork in Gimp (levels, contrast)

Wonderful achievment Dmytry and the results are so amazing - and this is early stage of development, Wow!
This looks very promising
Looks good. Some of the terrains you see in Terragen renders, using World Machine, have fantastic erosion effects. Something to achieve similar results in Mojoworld would be great.
Love it!!!
pffff that's just amazing the stuff u make man! Has doc mojo offered u a job at pandromeda yet?? I think with all this stuff u do he defenitely should!
The last thing (well, one of major :) that MW was missing... Really great work!
Once again you are pushing the bounderies Dymytry!!....and with the usual amazing results!!...I look forward to seeing your progress with this one.....Excellent work!!
Very impressive, Dmytry! I, personally, never did figure out how to do this procedurally. Great work!
Bravo ... Love to see things we discussed on MojoVox come to life :)
Looks very promising.
Coming my A--! First it was supposed to show up in Houdini, now it's apparently on a road to nowhere because no one seems to give a S--- apparently. This reminds me of those University software developer hoarders who come up with brilliant software only to be forever locked away for ever on there servers for the public never to see.
