Description

SSS Fast Skin render test ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have spent many hours/days messing around with the SSS fast skin shader in mental ray, and this is what I have come up with.. (tho I am still not quite happy with the skin yet) I think certain areas still need work (esp the eyes) and am open to any comments/ideas for ways of impove my render :) Credits: -------- Hair model by Kozaburo Scarf by wusamah Base mode is from Poser, so no need to comment on that. (tho I prob will stop writing that as I notice most people don't mention the use of poser models anymore)

Well this render is close to an photo, thoug in a photo this noseshadow would have to be avoided with an light from the right side. The eyewhit is IMO a bit to bright, maybe reduching the diffuse value can fix it. The SSS looks believable. ~Uwe
