Description

I had fun with this one. As it developed it became a play of light against dark. The contrast started to show off the light rays without going outside of Daz Studio to use post work. Although I tried post work I could never obtain the look I wanted. Anyway I hope you like it. As usual all comments are welcome. This is mostly Daz Studio but if there is anything of yours here let me know and you will recieve proper credit. Bill

This pic is really pretty. I love mermaids and you really captured the scenery of the ocean floor brillantly. I wish the details would have come out more maybe it would be really cool w/the lights colored blue and green or something.....Shanpoo ;}

Very nice work Bill. The lighting is subdued but works well in the environment.

I'm surprised that no one caught the sutlies of this rendering. Textures don't always show underwater when there are large shadow areas caused by the small amount of light reaching depths depicted here. The turtles front flippers are causing disturbances on the sea floor between the large area of plants. The light sand is moved uperwards and outwards by the upward movement of the flippers. there is a slight bluring of the plant leaves in the lower right corner to suggest the water movement caused by the flippers. Light filtering down through the plants prevent a strong light reaching the sea floor. There is just enough light to see the heavily textured rock and jar on the right. Look closely and you can detect the forward and outward movement of sand between the rock, jar and bowl. The contrast is strong as it should be far below the water surface. Bill
