Description

... For falling Rocs. ((For those who don't know... a Roc was a giant bird in Arabian legend, said to be able to snatch up elephants and fly away with them, one in each claw). I modelled the orc, sun, and Roc in Rhino, and composited the scene in Max. Oh, and the characters were made Poser ready, so I went ahead and used Poser to pose them rather than bother with boning them. Oh, am I the only one that thinks my orc (about to get squished) looks like a Muppet ?

hehe funny pic.. but why didnt you use the free terrain plug to make a realistic mountain.. or is that broken glass?

hmmm... I don't think I clicked on 'view random', but somehow that's very random. I love it. Besids, I don't know about the free terrain plug, but a plane primitive and a displace map do it very well (multiply the plane density for render). But I like the 2d aspects of the mountains. It gives a very surrealistic look the the whole scene. Heeeeu... what do you mean by 'Poser ready'?

"Poser Ready" means I had originally created these characters for use in Poser - as .obj format, grouped into individual body parts, then taken into Poser and given a hierarchy and joint parameters adjusted. Right now, all three are done for Poser, but only my Sun is online.
