Description

Pencil on cartridge paper sketchpad - 30th September 2005 I did this in the same session as the drawing I posted yesterday. Same way of working but much much faster and looser - spontaneous pencil strokes followed by turning the result into something more solid with deliberate hard lines and shading. Anyway - amusingly I thought the result resembled Eeyore from the Pooh Bear books (in fact a hybrid of several A.A.Milne characters) climbing out of a Henry Moore sculpture that's been hollowed out! Cassie saw this "sculpture" as a stylization of the continent of Australia too... As always thank you so much for taking a look and your feedback is always appreciated :-)

This is excellent. I like the hard lines interspersed with space and softer ones. I like this one too.

Thats funny before I even saw the title I thought I would comment on the fact that it looks like Eyeore. Was that done on purpose or was it happy accident.
