Description

Photograph made with my Nikon D70S and a Tamron lens 18-200 mm. No postwork on this one, just framed with Photoshop 7

We came back in the ruins of the Villers Abbey. I want to show you this detail, a tomb (I don't remember of who.... sorry ! Maybe Michel has a best memory of mine ?) with a great POV behind, and a very particular and warm light behind. We work in harmony with Michel for this serie ! Have you seen his post of today of this Abbey ? Just follow me here : "Villers Abbey (#3) : Church's choir" by GiMi53 You can read more about this Cistercian Abbey on his own website : Villers Abbey

Thank you for all your kind comments and your wishes for Kimmers on my post of yesterday : "Happy Birthday Kimmers !!!" If you want to see the last photography post in Giancarlo's gallery, just click here : The Guardian And always the last upgrade of our Website here : the first gallery of HORSES, a reportage made in 2003 with Giancarlo, about our young friend Morgane and her horses... Home Page of Giancarlo Lucerni and Nathalie Masson Have a great Friday ! Nathalie, and always close to me, Giancarlo

Well, according to the Michelin guide (on top of page 365...you have it too, Nathalie... lol !), on the tomb, it is the recumbent figure of Gobert d'Aspermont (who died in 1263!)["le gisant" de G.d'Aspremont]. And you know already that it is one of my favorite among all the pictures you took in the Villers Abbey ! Thanks for posting this excellent image, Nathalie ! Zibous ! :~)

Vraiment sublime! Vraiment sublime! Vraiment sublime! ;)
