Description

After the wet day yesterday it's great to find a new opportunity for a new hike. I plot a course on the map and drive to the location on a very curvy road (I'm always excited whether I will able to reach my destination) until I reach the point from where I want to start my hike, the valley called Ginals. The weather seems good although overcast, and soon I am walking in the clouds at only 1709 m (5607 ft). The rivulet with the rosebay willowherb (Epilobium angustifolium) in front of it attracts my attention. I am glad to have a tripod because the light-conditions make it not easy to shoot by hand. WOW!! Excellent Plus++++ Jan-Carel!! This is just awesome! I absolutely love the mist at the top and how it gradually gets sharper and more detailed as your eye travels down. It looks like a magical gradient of such a beautiful scenery!! This must go to my favs!! VOTE

I love that feeling of being in the clouds. It feels very cool with only mother natures sounds singing to you. I can hear the music in this river. Beautiful capture. Aloha

After the seascapes, these cascades ae nothing to capture. The really high fall with water approaching terminal velocity still remains. Skydivers nudge and snicker as they load into their Stinson Voyager.
