Description
Well i finished this one, i know it still needs work, but right now i realy dont have time to finish it.
Its textured only with procedurals (i just love procedurals).
All done in LW, no postwork.
Cheers.

Super lighting & texturing...but the background photo looks a bit flat in the foreground section ? Cheer's
Well yeah, i didnt bother to make a landscape, so i just put one big floor poly and this is whats came out.
really cool modeling and I look forward to seeing more of this critter
ho! excellent but terrible kinna arachnid!! It seams to B very hungry ;o) Good job V
awesome creature design... would love to see it in a well textured environment
It reminds me of those camel spiders (do they exist?) but more sinester! As usual i love your style!
Quad Pod Eh? :) :) Sounds like it should be a Honda ATV of some sort. Perhaps you can UV map a Honda logo on it butt. :) Yup I like procedurals as well, there is a whole lot you can do in there especially when you start layering them and using gradients and tieing the effect between channels. The tough part though is to get just the right amount of specularity where the surface does not end up looking stony. Some more spec on the bony parts like that bad ass spear stinger thingy would not hurt. Otherwise great stuff. Is that a photo used for the ground or a HV ground?
Gonna have nightmares tonight...very well done...excellent work!
Wonderful work, although maybe you could make it less nightmarish LOL! Excellent work!!
Great work as ever my friend and still the strangest mind on the block:-) Clive barker's a fan i hear.
Curious looking creature... and a bit nasty too. :o) Very interesting design and a very cool render. Would be good to see it in an animated walk cycle. :o)
good light excellent shadows
WAY COOL! you can do a lot with a critter like that & a better background. I think it bit me last night ...
