Description

Hi there!!! This is my first work under the name FAKE. (what I made earlier you can see here: http://www.renderosity.com/gallery.ez?ByArtist=Yes&Artist=Kebbelchen) The idea to this picture I had when I was caught(my flu was also the basis why you heard nothing of me for so long) . I always wanted to enlarge my loft and now I have done it virtual. Some infos about the work: It was funny to walk around with an inch rule and measure the loft and the funiture. The scene was made with C4D 6 but I never was happy with the render so I decided to render the scene on a friends computer with C4D 7.2 (the lucky one). The most difficult thing were the attitudes of radiosity, I spend hours over hours on the parameters and the whole thing needs over 15 hours to render. All the textures are done with PhotoShop 5 LE and the rest was done in C4D. I hope ya like it and all comments are welcome. ~{o;)

You've done an excellent job with the GI. I don't know yet but are the reflections in the great windowpane ok?

Hi Oktavian. ThanX for the comment, I think the reflections are O.K. if ya remember the camera-angle and the windows-angle. If not there must be a bug in C4D 7.2, lol. ~{o;)

This is awesome, Guido. I really like to have a home like that. Let us see some more of this house.

Fantastic! I've never had the patience to wait for Radiosity to render anything - though if I was sitting in a room like this one I might. :-) Great work.

Very nice, I'd love to know what kind of computer was used to render this, trying to establish rough radiosity speeds.... Very nice sense of sunlight.

Oh my Fake - another beautiful 3D render. Your attention to the details of your loft are so commendable, even measuring your space for scaled accuracy. I am not a 3D artist, but I've been contemplating. Now - after seeing your gorgeous work, I simply must take the next 10 years and learn how to format a page and draw a box. Gawd, it'll take me 30 years to catch up to your worst mistakes, let alone create something so majestically stunning. Love the window refractions. Simply an exhibit in abnormal skill.
