Description

The picture shows version 8 of the Cyberhorn. My intention here is not to make an exact copy of the well known Matterhorn. But as I have always been thrilled by its shape and majesty, I am trying to capture a part of it in my own cyber version. The sky shows some type of cirrus clouds. No resizing, no contrast, no sharpening just adding my signature. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

I think the Cyberhorn complements the clouds (or vice versa) .. well done!

Almost perfect... maybe more detail/shades/roughness in cliff stone materials ? Clouds are fantastic, very subtle shapes.

You may be right, Olivier. I will probably try some bitmap or 3D texture overlays for a later version. Thanks. Also I will try to achieve more smoothness on some snow areas. But as there is no parameter in Artmatic that is smoothing the underlying terrain like in Terragen, it`s quite hard to achieve...

I am a bit late for comments, but your clouds are the exact kind of clouds I loved to paint when I was painting with traditionnal airbrush, they fit so well with the top of the mount. I am happy to see the vistors of your gallery are among the best landscape specialists but I think you deserve more comments. Keep up the good work Dick :-) V
