Description
The "Chimers" are hydrogen breathing, methane drinking aliens from across the five galaxies. They are reclusive and enigmatic to humans. From a distant recon probe on one of their planets, here is a scene of what is assumed is a family gathering at some kind of monument. The corroding metal sculpture is almost 200 meters tall and is of a kind of "Chimer" the humans have called the "Spacer Variant". It is NOT known whetther this kind of "Chimer" is a different sex, species, or even age-derived variant of the same species. "Chimers" are well reknown for their beautiful singing speach. Why they are there, why are they gathering is unknown.
They stayed throughout sunset and more gathered on the distant peaks. A lone space-battleship of the Chimer Battle-fleet hovered overhead in silence. The glowing plants swayed in the hydrogen breezes, and luminous owl-bats came out to drink methane from the scattered pools. The bright light of the ringed planet, their planet orbits, shone down in the quiet. As one, they raised their voices at the statue for an hour and then they left, to go home, I presume. I don't know why.
