This is such a beautiful photo. We used to own horses and although she looks like she could be ill, I truly believe they are both sleeping. They purposely sleep nose to end to swat flies away from each others face. A nice quiet photo. I like it! :0)
Must have fallen asleep as i'v missed this one? Ooops :-) To me, the horse doesn't look sad .. day-dreaming in the light she may be? Dunno ... fine postwork in this image. Having it that bright usually isn't what i like, but in this case, it's looking really good.
