Description
In 1983 I went out into my garden to watch the night sky. Gazing upwards I got aware of the moon. It was shining bright, but there was something wrong: there was more giving light! I watched further and I saw these two gigantic ellipses around it. Never before I saw such a phenomenon, and I'm sure this will be the last time.
