Bluegrass_Tree - For Glen, Ken and the gang . . . Every other sunday afternoon my brother and a large bunch of local musicians gather at a small town's city garage and play bluegrass music. They all contribute but are loosely lead by a 86 year young fellow who knowns more songs written before I was born than your could believe. He also plays a mean fiddle and banjo. Even music you would not think you like sounds great when preformed well by a large, talented and enthusiastic group. Beginning musicians also come and play along a bit quietly to learn the songs. The public can and does come and listen for hours for free and most likely share in some homemade treats too! You can bring treats also if you want, but leave your money home, cuase it ain't no good there. One time the musiscians had me set in the large circle where they play, must have been about 15 of them there, multiple guitars, fiddles, banjos and a bass, talk about surround sound! I can not make music but sure enjoy it, and that day is a prize memory, which is true wealth! This little picture is a small attempt to say thanks to those bluegrass boys and gals!
