Description
Hi. This has been a very sad day for my family and myself. I had to take my Sweet Little Claude to be put to sleep. The Vet. asked if I wanted them to do it without me and I said no I promised him I would be with him til the very end and thats what I must do. He and I were looking into each others eyes as we said our last good-byes. I told him it was okay and that I Loved him and would Love him forever and a day. I am so sad rite now that it's hard to breathe. Claude: I love/loved your perfect round face with your pushed in little nose, those golden eyes how they always shined with love, your grey soft fur that was so soft to the touch, your big soft paws that you would let us squeeze so very gently, and that soft little tummy that you would let us rub. Your heart so big, soft, and so full of Love to give. When you would meow you would always say Mom-Maw and that got to my heart. Claude you were perfect from the tip ends of your ears to the tip end of your tail. I will forever and a day Love you with my whole heart and soul. I Love You, I Love You, I Love you My Sweet Claude. Thank you for 17 years of the greatest Love.

Oh Laura, I'm sooooo sad for you, it's such a horrible thing to loose a dear cat friend, I wish they would live longer than they do. My heart hurts with you as I have two dear cats in their senior years as well. It's nice that you have some wonderful photos and tons of great memories!!! Big hugs to you... Akemi...so sorry...

Sorry for your loss. It's always hard to lose a pet - they're just as much a part of the family as anyone else.

Aaw, my heart goes out to you. I know how incredibly hard it is to lose one of your furry familymembers. Were currently facing that awful decision too, and its not an easy one to do. Claude sure was a gorgeous cat and you truly paid a beautiful tribute to her just now. Take care of yourself and your family.

The leafs in the back form a heart! A positive sign. Though decision, brave you stayed with Claude until the end. That was the best thing to do. Wish you and yours all the strength you need. Hugz.

Its so sad to loose an animal, I'm sad with you. I've live it many times such situation, I have animals on my side since I'm born. Really and deeply sorry. May the supporting of your friends here help. BTW a wonderful shot and the best tribute to your lovely friend.

I know that you miss him alot mom, but I'm right there with you. I already miss him bunches & I wish that he was still here because when any of us was sad he was always there beside of us, & if any of us was sick he was there, too. He was the best cat anyone could have & we were lucky to have him in my case for 13 years. It still don't seem possible that he is gone. luv ya mom!!

What a sad loss, and a really beautiful tribute to a lovely fellow; this brought tears to my eyes. I love my own Lucia so much, and her silly brother Sox...amazing the things cats can teach you! And love is the biggest part of it.

So sorry for your loss. I lost a cream Persian at the age of 14 that was very much as you describe Claude. It will be two years in September that he passed. We had to put him down too - lung cancer, of all things. We do not smoke. :( I still miss him greatly.

I am going through sadness at this time with my cat Becky. She has kidney failure and there is no telling how much longer she has. She has her good days and bad days. Becky has been a wonderful part of my life for 19 years. My deepest condolence for your loss. A beautiful photo memory of Claude.
