The history of weapons would probably start with primitive man who sharpened sticks in a fire to make a spear. Bronze age fighting gear required careful preparation by a blacksmith. The katana was a Japanese blade created by masters of the art of blade creation. The 20th century has seen a massive upgrade (and equal destructive power) in weapons including automatic weapons, aerial bombs and now drones.

Renderosity artists have created all kinds of interesting weapons-themed artworks. 1,700 works are represented in the gallery and we've chosen 10 to represent the kind of work that is being done there.
