I found an interesting effect when playing with transparency maps and reflections; I THINK it is possible to create a lens flare in Poser. The image here was done entirely in Poser (except it was cropped in PSP5, and ran through Ulead's SmartSaver to reduce file size), with transparent spheres with different sizes and highlights, the Silver reflection map, and a lot of playing with dials.
