Well, we Poser users still need it for lipsync, but this application looks interesting:

Facade: Stanford Facial Animation System

I can't help wondering if it could somehow be adapted to Poser (or other programs, for that matter).

Thanks LD, does look interesting! Many people get mixed results with Mimic, so another option would be handy. Dave :-)

MiMic for the MAC was supposed by out by the end of march today is April 1st

i think i'll work on my text to speech engine some more... the actual sounds are giving me some trouble i think the idea of phenomes may be morer complicated than it has to be. only when i am sure i cant do it my self will i surcum to mimic. (unless the lower the price by 2/3 that is.)|;)>
