We've had other discussions here in the forum concerning this issue and if you're tremendously interested, I would highly suggest you go and hunt those down for more information. Short version, Eovia released their Physics plug in for Carrara 1.0 before they surrendered developing the code and Carrara went into La La land. Fortunately for all of us, Eovia snagged it and now we're here, BUT, they didn't sell Eovia the Physics plug in stuff for the version they have in the field. Consequently, you can only get the Physics plug-in into the Eovia version of C if you own the licensed flavor from Metacreations and port over the plug in. Since it's a licensed component of the code, downloading it or distributing it has been strictly forbidden so you have to really do some hunting to get a real live copy of Metacreations C (at least as far as I'm aware, I haven't heard any noise from Metacreations or Corel about turning loose this plug-in for free). Hope this answers some of your questions. -Kix

Hum, is that a freudian slip, Kix ? I think you wanted to say : "Metacreations released their Physics plug in for Carrara 1.0" Metacreations, not Eovia, right ? For me i liked the Physics in 1.0, even though i haven't even tried to have them back into 1.1 . It was fun, but i'm not really into animations, so ... Anyway, Eovia has promised that physics would be back in future versions of Carrara, as soon as they aquire the rights to distribute them . litst

"Because of licensing issues, the Physics Animation plug-in found in MetaCreations Carrara is not included in the current version of Carrara Studio. We are actively working on re-licensing the plug-in for Carrara Studio." This quote found at the link below, last paragraph, says that the physics animation plug-in isn't included in the Eovia version. Can someone explain? And is this a big feature missing? Thanks Brian
