It's a simple tree skirt I made and even included a hole for the tree. This came after I couldn't find a tree stand so I thought a tree skirt would hide the stand. lol

Currently it has no textures and I think I made a texture map for it, but haven't tried it yet to see if it works.

Ok This will be my first freebie so I hope I get everything right. Any suggestions for me? hehe I'll include the treeskirt.obj and the template and will be waiting in anticipation to see what you guys come up with as textures. :) I did try the texture map and it works. Hopefully later today I'll have it ready.

This must be a woman thing because I don't see any guys getting excited over it! lol

Oh and what is better for the texture map? A *.bmp or *.jpg? The *.bmp is 3 MB and I have no idea why. lol

.bmp's are always bigger, but I have no idea why, so maybe a .jpg

usually a .bmp has greater resolution, .jpg is compacted so that is usually the smaller, you should do texture maps as .jpg most of them are. Also, you should apply the RGB 24 color mode for it in your paint program
