You wouldn't think that corn would be too difficult to model... but I'm trying to think it through in my head... and granted I have very limited modeling knowledge/skill but I can't really think of an easy way to model an ear of corn... I'm sure it's not as difficult as I'm making it in my head... but now I wish it were Friday instead of Thursday, 'cause I want to try to make an ear of corn... and I won't have time to do it until this weekend... sigh
Sharen, If you guys want to do it that's great. I just thought it would be an awesome freebie for everyone. I'm sure they'd be ever grateful to you as always for the good work you guys do. As far as the corn, Cin, why couldn't it be made with a bump map like rock/brick walls are? I dunno as I've never done that before. I'm just getting used to working with already made stuff. hehe Other people are more knowledged on that subject than me.
Hmm... I guess you could make a bump map and wrap it around a corn shaped cylinder, but then you'd still have to make the leaves and the little bit of stalk on the end... either way I'm going to see if I can make an ear of corn, just to see if I can do it... if it turns out any good at all I'll send it along to anyone that wants it... I woudln't imagine that an ear of corn is that in demand though. :)

This makes the end of the week that much more fun. :) I feel like the lady in that old department store commercial knocking on the door saying, "Open open open open open."
