edit in case anybody needs it:
Issue 2 is a new setting in the Preferences, which are NEW and therefore might catch people. Go to Edit>Preferences>BodyPaint, make sure "Show while Painting" option is ticked under "brush".
Still can't seem to get the projection painting set up to work properly, so any help on that front would still be appreciated.

Hi everybody!
I updated my C4D to the latest version. Everything installed without issue, but I seem to be having issues with the brushes. Can anybody help, please?
issue 1: for fixing seams, I used to be able to enable 3D painting, projection painting, and use the clone stamp: select one area with the picker and fix the seam. I can't seem to be able to do that anymore doing the exact same steps that I used to do on C4D18, I get to the picker, but NOTHING paints, and it's not that I don't have "use all visible layers" enabled; clone stamp works perfectly fine outside of Projection Painting mode but won't fix seams.
issue 2: I seem to have lost the brush preview when 3D painting, and instead I have just the generic tool symbol. If I press capslock I get the crosshairs, like in Photoshop. I only seem to get back the actual shape of the brush when using projection painting. Needless to say, this is highly inconvenient as I'd like to see the size and shape of the brushes when I am using them
C4D also seems to be ridiculously slow, like chocking/freezing viewport slow even with just two relatively small objs in it (>55K between both). I am running it on an i&-6700, I've got 64Gb of RAM, and an Nvidia Quadro M2000, all up to date, and with graphic drivers updated two days ago when I first installed and run this.
Any suggestions? Thank you!
