Does anyone know where I can get a greyscale height map to make a Devil's Tower terrain?

Can I read notes?  Hell, there ain't no notes to a banjo. You just play it.

 Hi Wheatpenny,

You can get some genuine height maps here: http://edc2.usgs.gov/geodata/

However, using the DEMs inside of Carrara will require using Digital Carvers Guild Ground Control.

I'd really be inclined to simply use Carrara's painting tools in the Terrain Editor or create a grayscale heightmap in Photoshop/PSP and simply import it into the Terrain Editor.

I had ground control at one time, but I lost it in a hard drive crash. I've emailed them to see if I can get a new download of it.
I have a VistaPro dem of Devils Tower and Ground Control can load VistaPro files too, so if I can get GC replaced my problem will be solved.

Looking thru my model collection, I found a 3ds model of it that will suffice until I can get ground Control replaced.

OK, I heard back from Digital Carvers, they sent me my serial number and gave me a new download, so I have Ground Control again.
Now to look for my Devils Tower dem file.
