Subject: Anyone see this type of crash?

Running Vista 64.  If I load a file that has texture information, no problem.  Load a material or a pose file that has texture information, no problem.  As soon as I click the name of the image file in the material room, or click on an empty image node to load a texture file, kaboom.  Program stops.

Obviously the Vista file system isn't playing nice with PoserPro when it goes looking for a file.  Anyone else see this problem?

Quote -   Program stops.

What does this mean? It freezes? Exits? Brings up the Vista 'Program not Responding' message?

I'm running P7 SR3 under Vista64 with no problems whatsoever.

"Poser Pro executable file has stopped working", yadda yadda.

Well, problem solved apparently.  Reinstalled to a folder outside the Program Files folder and the issue seems to be gone.

Forgot to say in my previous post that the stupid, annoying User Access Control (UAC) feature of Vista may be a culprit, and you should right click the .exe and "Run as administrator", and this is probably why putting it outside the Program Files directory worked.

Actually, when I got the machine last Friday and was starting to configure it, disabling UAC was the first thing I did.
