Here is a comic book space ship I modelled in Wings 3d and rendered in Bryce. Space Station 1 is from the "Space Family Robinson" comics from Gold Key Comics. Preceeding "Lost in Space" by about four years. The ship lools like a big "H" with the lower ends toed in at an angle. On the main deck under the large dome is a huge telescope. On top of each of the uprights are the greenhouses an on the lower decks are the shuttle bays, (four each). The ship in the comics is a stark white with very few windows or outside features. I gave this model a slight bump map and changed the front windows to break things up a bit but other than that it's pretty simple. All C&C is appreciated.

Cool rendition! Definitely a different design from what you see today in sci-fi.

Lol, I remember this comic from when I was a kid! I'd say you nailed the feel and design of that old classic really well.
