Subject: Lenscare plugin for Mac?

I have to add depth of field to my 3d renders in post with Photoshop. I export a depth alpha and then use blur filters in PS. The results aren't bad at all but I've just discovered a plugin that does a much better job than Photoshops built in filters. It's called Lenscare (see link) and produces superb results, unfortunately it's not available for Mac yet (there is an after effects version for mac so I guess the PS version is coming)

Does anyone know of an equivalent plug for OSX?

Thanks in advance - Baz

Hi Baz, take a look at Andromeda, they have a plugin called VariFocus that lets you "Defocus then Focus to the Point" - it lets you focus on an area by using the plugin's aperture masks or import your own. you can even distort, shift and save masks. it has positive and negative unsharp masking controls that'll you apply focus/defocus to sharpen your image or to create a special effect.

here's the sites link andromeda.com, then just click on the VariFocus product from the side menu...

hope it helps,
:)
