Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2026 Jan 23 11:24 pm)
Most of this stuff is created on a PC. You'll probably need to take an extra step and run the files through the Maconverter utility to make them fully Mac-compatible.
MartinC's Maconverter and related Macintosh utilities are in Free Stuff.
Husk, We actually have it easier than the PC folks thanks to MartinC. His Maconverter does the objaction-moving thing, too, of checking whether a required figure is in the library for those files needing it. After you are used to Poser you'll want to set up the libraries your own way... in the meanwhile, let his installer place files where they can be found. Carolly

I'm running P4 on a mac. Have been trying to DL stuff like hair, etc. I've tried to follow the brief installl instructions on the readmes, but I can't get anything to appear in my libraries. I.E., downloaded a mac/pc stand alone hair file, put the hr2 files into the runtime/libraries/hair folder...nothing. What am I doing wrong? Help!! Is there a tutorial on installing even the simple stuff that a dummy like me could figure out?
