nope doesn't happen here... Are you using a V3 pose or one for V2? I have found that the V3 figure doesn't work well with some v2 poses, because her joints are different.. -=SimderZ=-

well actually the issue is happening with both... but it is possible that I used a v2 pose that messed up the joint and then it never went back :) D

that looks like you used the glove injection " ArmGloves " in the " !MAT V3 " folder. Theres another one to turn it off .

You could try "Zero Figure" from the Joint Editor in the Windows menu. This should reset all the joint parameters to zero, giving you a chance to try re-posing the figure. I use it if I screw up a figure real bad. :) Apologies if you already tried this.

hmmm that is possible... I loaded all body and head morphs before I started, and then removed the ones I didnt use, but I might have missed one... Hopefully I will find a easier way :)

darhorn ( ) posted Sat, 28 December 2002 at 5:39 PM

actually Sam, I didnt do this as I didnt want to lose the morph work I had started :) this was really a quick image I was doing with V3 so didnt feel like spending too much time with it :)

SamTherapy ( ) posted Sat, 28 December 2002 at 5:51 PM

AFAIK, you don't lose the morphs by resetting the joint params. What you could try is to save the WIP as a PZ3 file so you can return to it if my idea doesn't work as I expected.

Try turning off the IK Chains. I heard that works also.

Yup, happened to me a few times. Seems to be only with certain poses. I didn't use a V2 pose, just lifted the arm manually and that happened.

Well, i just got the same "breaking" effect myself! It happened, right after i scaled the Shins on the "Y Axis"! I've noticed, that whatever parts i try to scale down or up have an adverse effect!(And, yes! I did turn IK OFF!). Maybe, my eyes are playing tricks on me. But, for a few moments i thought i saw a "weird change" at the Joints when i applied the scaling... Could it be affecting the ERC or PCF(Or whatever it's called)?? I'm too tired to think clearly on this! I'm trying to eliminate all possibilites before Crying for Help! As is often the case, the errors often originate at the user level(meaning i made a "booboo".) :-) Although, if many more report such discrepancies, then maybe i'm not seeing things... If i fail to resolve this, i'll write to DAZ! Later! Marco
