It seems poser 11 saves the new thumb size BUT never reads that file back in. The tech support hinted that poser could be reading that xml from a different location so where it wrote it is not where it reads it from.
Thread: Turning off "newer version" warning in pro 2014. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yeah I was thinking of a python drag and drop script. I looked in the INI and found SHOW_PARSED_UNSUPPORTED_WARNING 1 which I set to 0 but that doesn't seem to have an effect.

I had to roll back ie to 10. Its ie 11 that not only crashed poser 11 pro for me but steam updates.
Thread: Queue Manager. What is the point? | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
That's fine. I expect that as well. I thought maybe some compressed format. But then I have to double save at this point which is annoying. Now one thing I could do is write a pythin script to save the file then call render to queue so at least I don't get lost in steps.

My current method is to use a pythn script I wrote to render all the pz3 files in a driectory and save the results so I can fire it off over night. Thought maybe I could set up a second machine to do that and thought that's what queue manager would do. Sadly it doesn't help.
Also queue manager does not render exactly the same as in poser. It seems to reset magnet dial settings for example.

Added - I did discover I can prevent this by locking the figure from the figure menu for each piece of clothes but I didn't have to do that before.

Conforming or prop clothing? If it's conforming, why parent the clothing to the corresponding figure? In Poser 11, conformed clothing automatically scales with the figure, you need to activate the appropriate tick boxes in the clothing properties panel. Now if you are using content not intended for a particular figure, I can see where that can present a problem. In that case, you might try copying joint zones from the parent figure to correct the issue.
I do so because it declutters the hierarchy menu. Makes it far easier to pick the base figures. Also I have found the clothes do not scale when scaling the base. Seems something changed since about 2 weeks ago. Now I did get a much faster machine and I was thinking it maybe the issue but I'm not sure. I just never had this problem in the past.

Figured it out. The poses that cause the problems are poses with the following line
refFigure JamesG2
Any pose without that line works fine. On my old system Poser seems to ignore this. On my new system it seems to use this. Its referencing JamesG2_DEV.crz in the RuntimefiguresRepose folder. If I rename this file the new poser install barks at this saying it can't find the file but then poses the figure just fine while the old setup doesn't complain. So it must be some setting somewhere. These are both exactly the same poser pro 11 versions.

Thread: So no TKintr with poser 12? | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
Ok I was able to fix this by downloading the latest python then copying the tcl8.6 and tk8.6 dirs to the runtime/python/lib directory. I think the tkinter directory also has to be copied. Also you can't use Tkinter anymore. its all lower case.

Thanks Mason41, that's very useful to know. When you say the name "Tkinter" has to be in lowercase, do you mean the folder-name or referencing it in the script?
In the scripts. Also python 3 is more sensitive about tabs and spaces so your script can't mix tabs and spaces.

Thanks. It would be useful to have the correct and tested folders in a ZIP on Renderosity Freestuff, so save people from having to wrestle with downloading Python and locating the required folders. For instance, I failed to find the required folders among the various install ZIPs for Python 3.7.9.
C:/Users/*your user name*/AppData/Local/Programs/Python/Python39/tcltcl8.6
C:/Users/*your user name*/AppDataLocal/Programs/Python/Python39/tcltk8.6
These two dirs go into your
Runtime/Python/lib
directory as sub directories.

I posted a possible fix here. The python dir is missing dirs from the python 3 library. Plus Tkinter is now tkinter. I got most of my old scripts working.

Moderators - this is an obvious 'troll thread' and should be locked.
How is this a troll thread. I'm just wondering why creators only make content for daz studio. I'm frustrated by the lack of poser content and see lots of cool stuff I'd like to have but its Daz only.
