Hello,
I want to really create a new camera as it is possible in the Poser interface under Object -> Create camera -> revolving, but from the script. This new camera should be able to translate in all direction. As an alternative, I presently change the parameters of the Aux Camera camera from my script without problem, but for my application, I prefer not to use the existing cameras.
Hope that my request in more clear
Thread: Creating a revolving camera | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
Hello semidieu,
Thanks you very much. Its works but I have to change a little bit my script. When I will be OK with my script, I will post the script to have comments by Python experts. Up to this time, I have to done my effort to write the script. My script is related to calculation of the stereobase (distance between cameras) for generating right and left stereoscopic images.
Where do you get these code ?

Hello,
There is two questions here. First, it is easy in Poser to create the left and right images that can be used after to generated stereo images. I wrote a small Python script (See the Python forum on this site) that created the left and right images. Next, to generate the stereo images (either red-blue anaglyphs, stereo pairs or other types), you need a special stereoscopic program. My preference is for Stereo PhotoMaker (http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/). I saw some tutorials on the net refering to Poser, but I don't remenber where (One is probably on the DAZ site). Type Stereo, Anaglyphs on their search engine
The second question was also mine some time ago. Being an amateur stereographer and producing stereo images in Poser (), I would like also to see my scenes on 3DTV. In stereoscopic forums, it is advanced that MPO format file can be read in the USB port or Card port of the some Panasonic 3DTV. (VT20 and VT25). MPO file format a stereoscopic format used with the new FujiFilms 3D Camera. This type of file can be created (from the left and right images) by Stereo PhotoMaker.
Another set-up involves the use on a computer connected to the 3DTV by a HDMI cable (http://www.3dmovielist.com/3dhdtvs.html)
At this time, I don't have a 3DTV so I have not tested myself these solutions.

Hello,
No, Stereo Photomaker is for still images. To my knowledge, there is no way to play 3D home made movie on the 3DTV.
Bye

Hello,
I don't know if you are familiar with stereoscopy. The non glasses 3DTV are said to be autostereoscopic. This type of display is already use for the FudjiFilm 3D camera and display frame. See http://www.fujifilm.com/products/3d/

Thread: Confirmation of Parameter reading | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
Hello PhilC,
First of all, Merry Christmas to you. I am studying hard your book on Poser Python.
From your response, it is what I suspect. However, in my multiple trials, I try to break the loop by using the ClearUpdateCallback method, but this don't work. There is a way to break the loop and to go further in the script?
The script is only an example to show simply what I am trying to do. In fact, my idea is to bypass Poser inability to read keyboard input during script execution (see previous thread by me on this forum) by reading the value of a "false" dial (In the script, it was the Scale dial, but in my application, I created a false Spawn Target Morph dial doing nothing). The confirmation request is important because the user can do an error while moving the dial, but this feature is not essential.
Sorry for English mistakes, my native language is french.
Thank for your advice

Thread: Has anybody tried viewing 3D stereo Poser images on a 3D HDTV? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hello,
For the Panasonic and probably LG models, apparently it is possible to display the stereoscopic images that are converted to the MPO format. MPO format is used by Fuji sterep camera W1 and W3. To convert your stereo images made in Poser (you can use my Python Script available in the freestuff section to generate the two images) to the MPO format, you can used the free program StereoPhoto Maker. Then you save this file on SD card to be play on the TV. Because I don't have a 3DTV, I have not tested myself the procedure. If you have access to a Panasonic 3DTV, just try before. If you have another TV model (Samsung), you have to use a computer connected to the TV via the HDMI 1.4 cable. A player program such as Stereoscopic player.
