Having spent the last few months looking at spacecraft concepts of the 1950s, and some real spacecraft that were built since then, I thought I'd come up to date.  The Chinese plan to reach the moon with the Mengzhou and Lanyue spacecraft.  The Mengzhou will accompany the Lanyue to the moon.  After the Lanyue's landing and return to lunar orbit the two crewman will join the one in the Mengzhou for the return flight to Earth.  Here are some early renders.
