Does anybody know of some good quality knee length fashion boots for Miki 2? Street wear, not fetish stuff. The sort of thing that Idler168 does so well, except that he hasn't, yet...

Unfortunately not.   I'd love to see more footwear (all shapes and sizes) for Miki 2, TY2 and for all of the G2 characters.

Miki and Miki 2 not compatible? There is or was, a set for Miki by Idler168 which included some nice boots, right here in the MP.

I'm doing two set of shoes for Terai Yuki2 myself, I'll let you know when they're ready :)

Invest in Phil C's Wardrobe Wizard and Miki 2 can wear Miki 1's boots.

Thanks folks. SamTherapy: I couldn't find anything for Miki in Idler168's store, Sam, apart from some thigh boots. He was one of the first merchants I thought of, of course. How good is his English? It wouldn't hurt to put in a request. :) LostinSpaceman: They tell me that WW isn't very good at doing shoes, which is why PhilC released Shoe Convertor. His stuff is on sale at Content Paradise right now... I had wondered how compatible Miki1020 and Miki 2 were, since the boots from Nekoja's Winter Clothes for Miki are the sort of thing I'm looking for. I could probably do a manual conversion if they were close. In the end I may make something myself, but time is limited at the moment. If I don't have some appealing outfits for Miki 2, I won't do many renders with her; if I don't do many renders I won't get to know whether I like her or not; and if I don't get to like her, I probably won't start making stuff that fits her. ;)

Bob, I dunno how good his English is, unfortunately.  Still, it couldn't hurt to drop him a line, I suppose.

Sorry, Sam, poor paragraph construction on my part made it look as if the question about Idler168's English was directed at you, whereas anyone was free to answer. :) He doesn't go in for a lot of chat on his product pages or readmes, so I guess the answer is not a lot. I'll give it a try anyway.

Well I can't say I've done a closet full of shoes with WW but I have converted Dork shoes to James just fine. You just have to fiddle with the Auto Adjust button and the Inflate/Deflate buttons to get more precise fits. I'd image that the shoes that give the most trouble are complcated ones with loads of straps and stuff. Boots and shoes have always done fine for me. 

Also to consider is that Miki 1 and Miki 2's body's are already so similar in shape, WW shouldn't have much to do at all except properly applying the right bone structures. I do reccommend Phils stuff though and sales are great if you have the cash.

Idler168 said he was planning to update his Thigh Boots for Miki to Miki 2 - not quite what I was after, but welcome none the less. Nekoja said he doesn't have time for modelling at the moment, but would consider it when he does. So, watch this space!
