Does anyone have any idea where I can find a 'Bass' ( fish ) for Poser that is free? I feel as if I have looked all over for one but maybe someone knows something I dont?

Try www.planit3d.com/source/meshes_files/aquatics01.html

Also Turbosquid has some fishes but not for free,
 but I think here: http://toucan.web.infoseek.co.jp/3DCG/3ds/FishModelsE.html
you'll find the one you are looking for.

If you can use an unrigged model (or can rig it yourself) then there are two different type of Bass at the attached link.

slap a few magnets on one of j. trout's free models and bob's yer uncle. fish don't need alotta rigging, joints and body parts like human models do.

Propschick ( ) posted Sat, 03 February 2007 at 7:58 PM

I have no clue how to do that lol

Are they Angry sea bass?  I'm hard pressed to visualize what a sea bass looks like.  I know there are a couple of asian sites that have a lot of different free fish on them...sadly, I lost those links when the last laptop died, but I know they're out there.  Post the URL's if you find them, please?  I was considering doing a whole Hunter S. Thompson salute to Trout Fishing in America....

check out philc's magnet tutorials. the daz largemouth bass is a cr2 figure with fairly good body parts, but fish don't bend similarly to humans. with magnets on the fins, they can all be made to bend and twist quite easily. a wave deformer on the body can simulate the sinusoidal flexing that the bass uses to propel itself forward. the opening of the mouth and movement of the gill covers is an advanced topic, however.

Ok well, I ended up using the free ones that were posted in the links as I will not spend money on this project.
