Subject: here we go again with the transparency

ok.....here we go again with transparency setting in Carrara 2.1. when i apply the transparency map of ths Poser hair in Carrara the rendered image shows a black line around the border of the hair.....that black border should have been made transparent by the trans map.. it looks like either the transmap is Wrong or its UV coordinates were nudged. but this is not the case since when i render this in Poser it comes out fine. i know many people have this problem like with V3. is there any solution to this besides postworking it? I dont mind postworking it.....it shouldnt take that much time.....but if theres a setting in carrara that solves this it would save me some time

Are you rendering this with G.I.? I had a similar problem that only showed up with transparency in G.I. Patrick Tuten

this was rendered in GI......but this also shows with Hybrid Raytracer. thanks echo.....ill check that out.
