Is there a shader utility available that allows you to edit the shaders? It would be nice to have something like what Poser has available for Mat Pose files. Dave

you mean as opposed to the textures room in Carrara?

Yes. Gets kind of cumbersome sometimes. Be easier to edit it outside of Carrara. Dave

I think Shader Ops makes some cumbersome moments better. But I tend to use a lot of Photoshop along the way. But that is not what you mean I presume.

Dave have you tried to use Bryces Texture editor:) What exactly do you mean? You can export a UV map..and reimport in CS3. Brian

I guess what I'm asking for, is to make a variation on some shaders without having to have Carrara open and jumping back and forth from window to window. I have a space ship that I'm doing where the shader is pretty much the same except things like the bump percentage or the tiling might change. I'd like to be able to edit them outside of Carrara without having to deal with all the tiled windows in the texture room. Dave

You can close the shader window you are done with them, before jumping back. Some patience is necessairy when doing space ships. I have heard. Good luck!
