Subject: Is there a new update? (3.0.2)

I just downloaded the 3.0.1 update last week and went back to the Eovia site today. On the left hand side it says download the 3.0.1 update. When you go to the page it says 3.0.2? Did I miss something here?

I just downloaded 3.02, it seems to be a new patch. Carrara says its 3.02 when loaded. As far as I could tell it lists different fixes than the 3.01 patch.

I believe it is a new update. But I wish eovia would do away with the whole registration form you have to fill out before you can download a patch. That is very annoying and is ridiculous to ask a customer to do for each download. -Paul

I just compared the 3.01 readme vs. the 3.02 web page list of fixes, and they are exactly identical, except for two bugs listed in 3.01 that aren't listed on the 3.02 page. So unless they "unfixed" those two particular bugs for 3.02, and if the readme files are to be believed... The two versions are identical. :

Well I ran the update and it states that it updates either 3.0 or 3.01 and the new version is 3.02.64 Regards, Paul

Agreed on the registration whine. I started to hunt down my license number - it's in the box, on a shelf, in a back room. (Actually, I have probably 6 or 7 different licenses; one for each time I've updated.) Anyway, I just entered a random number on the form and it took it. Why ask for the reg number if you're not going to confirm it some way? - Jasen.
