Our recent contest challenged artists to depict what a dinosaur egg-hunt would look like. All of the entries were excellent and it was difficult to come up with the winning artists, but ee are very pleased to announce the winners today.

Sometimes you have to climb the highest peaks to find the egg you're looking for. In this instance it's a way of life. My inspiration/aspiration was to recreate that uneasy feeling you get when you step too close to the edge. Though you're most likely sitting pretty in a chair somewhere.

Egg hunt ideas baked in the back of my mind all month, but the actual execution took about 20 hours using Blender for the cliff, Daz3D, Adobe Photoshop for the assembly and painting the momma pterodactyl. At least an hour went to internal wrestling over the best camera angle to create maximum unease.

Each year my friend and myself dress as Easter bunnies and help to organise the easter egg hunt at the local museum, This years hunt is going to be extra special because the new Dinosaur egg hunt exihibition will open to the viewing public on the same day, The Dinosaur egg hunt exhibition shows how differant it was all those years ago, It looks like someone was just trying to make off with one of the large eggs when a volcano has erupted and captured that moment in time forever, We best hop to it and hide the rest of our Easter eggs I can hear the excited children at the front doors of the museum now.

Created over several days in Daz3 studio and render time was only a few minutes, Lots of old V4 items used in this picture, V4 is still a favorite of mine, Thank-you and happy egg hunting.
