Come See What All The Chatter Is About

Have you ever visited a Chat Room before and not been able to commit yourself to sending that first message? What should I say? Who are these people? Do they really want to talk to me?

Well, consider this your outstretched hand from the Renderosity Community inviting you to join the growing list of those already involved in creating havoc - err scratch that - communicating amongst friends and colleagues. Are you ready? Grab a cup of your favorite beverage, pull up that comfy office chair and find a seat in Renderosity's Virtual Tavern or The Den.

It's fair to say that first-timers might find chatting a bit daunting at first but we're confident that if you hang around long enough you just might get the hang of it. Here's a few pointers to get you in the mix.

1.) Take a moment to observe what's being discussed.

2.) When you're ready - here's where you make your move. Start by typing H-E-L-L-O. This is sure to garner a few responses from the crowd of conversation engrossed individuals.

3.) After pleasantries have been put to rest, it's time for you to shine! Do you have 2-cents? Now is the time to share it. Do have a response to make on the conversation? Let 'em hear it.

4.) When you've exhausted all of your intellectual resources on any given topic, feel free to bow out of the conversation or simply attempt to change the subject. Remember, awkward goodbyes are always allowed in the world of chatting.

With a little practice and consistent presence, it won't take long for you to be viewed as a regular in The Virtual Tavern or The Den. Before you know it, you'll be the one welcoming chatting newbies into Renderosity's virtual watering hole and offering them up a tall glass of opinions and constructive criticism!
