In anticipation of the 2012 Game Developer Conference (GDC), Autodesk has announced a call for submissions for its annual Games Show Reel. The reel will debut at the Autodesk booth (#1432, North Hall) during GDC from March 7-9, in San Francisco, CA, and be featured on AREA, the Autodesk website and YouTube Channel, as well as at other events throughout the year.

Exceptional game cinematics, trailers, in-game sequences and animations created throughout 2011 with Scaleform, Beast, HumanIK, Kynapse, Maya, 3ds Max, Softimage, MotionBuilder and/or Mudbox are eligible for submission. If you recently completed a qualifying project using any of the Autodesk Digital Entertainment Creation software and middleware listed above, don’t miss the opportunity to flaunt your talent; submit your work today.

Autodesk is especially interested in HD video and imagery for inclusion in its 2012 marketing materials. A complete list of submission guidelines is available here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=13956066&linkID=10225712

The deadline for video and imagery submissions is January 13, 2012.
