Q&A with Santuziy78.
Tell us about yourself - who is santuziy78?
I'm 47 years old. I used to be a CNC programmer and engineer, but I left that career to pursue creativity, which has always been closer to my heart. Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer, reading, and movies. While my earlier interest was in 3D animation, these days I've been focusing on learning AI.

You have such a talent for creating character poses; what is your secret?
There is no secret. I’ve probably done several thousand poses for a long time. The first poses I did looked bad. It’s all about experience.
How did you get started as a vendor at Renderosity and how do you decide what to create and sell in your store?
3D modeling started as a hobby for me. After meeting some vendors who were selling their work on Renderosity, I decided to give it a try myself. Eventually, my hobby turned into my main job. I enjoy creating interiors and sets of poses for them, but occasionally I experiment with other things, like clothing or vehicles.
What is a typical workflow on your projects?
My workflow starts with planning. I always have a few different project ideas in mind, so I weigh the time required for each to decide my priorities. Once I've chosen a project, the technical process follows: modeling, texturing, and ensuring everything is properly adapted for Daz Studio and Poser. The final step is setting up the lighting and creating the renders.

What are the programs you first used while learning to create 3D graphics, and what are your favorite programs or tools now for work?
I began my journey in 3D graphics with Blender, and it remains my favorite and primary tool to this day.
What are your favorite projects to create and what has been the most successful for you?
My favorite projects to work on are interiors, as I enjoy the process of building a space. In terms of success, STZ Office and STZ Kitchen have been my most popular releases.
What part do you enjoy most about your work in digital art?
The best part of my work is the creative freedom. I love being able to choose my own projects and follow my own vision without having a client oversee every step of the process.
What are some future products you want to create or direction you want to go as a vendor?
I have a set of female bed poses that came out July 9th. Other than that, I don't plan too far ahead. To be honest, at the time of this interview, I haven't fully decided what else will be released in July. I'm planning to create a few more pose sets for the school classroom, but I might release something else first.
My creative process is fluid - new ideas often emerge while I'm working on current tasks, and I keep a running list of them. I prioritize my work based on complexity and time investment, so some products are released faster than others. Some projects evolve slowly over time, while others remain as concepts that may or may not be realized. While it's difficult to predict the exact release schedule, one of my upcoming goals is to add several school-themed assets to my store.

Are there other artists that influence your work or have mentored you?
I wouldn't say there's one specific artist; I've mostly been self-taught and developed my own style along the way.
What motivated you to become a vendor?
My motivation was simple: I wanted to spend my time doing something I truly enjoy and be able to earn a living from it.

How has Renderosity made a difference or helped in your growth as a vendor?
Renderosity played a key role in my growth by turning my hobby into a profession. It's a supportive community where I can see how other vendors work and find inspiration for my own projects. Being part of this marketplace has given me the confidence to keep creating and expanding my store.
With the arrival of AI in digital art, what are your thoughts on its use?
I've only recently started exploring AI, but I believe that, even now, it can significantly simplify the workflow and make the creative process more efficient.
Any advice for a young artist who wants to start selling at Renderosity?
My main advice is to spend enough time on your promo images. A great product can easily go unnoticed if the presentation is poor, so you should dedicate as much time to the visuals as you do to the creation of the product itself. Also, don't be discouraged if things don't work out right away. Just enjoy your work, and success will follow.
Any advice for Renderosity vendors just starting out?
Focus on quality over quantity. It's better to release one well-made product that works perfectly than several rushed ones. Take your time to test everything before publishing.
