Vendor of the Month for March, 2016

StudioArtVartanian

I'm very pleased to announce that StudioArtVartanian has been chosen as the Vendor of the Month for March, 2016. This is the sixth time StudioArtVartanian has won the VOM. An accomplishment, I believe, no other vendor can match. Spend five minutes in SAV's Renderosity store and you'll see why: this artist's work is impeccably crafted and covers a very wide range of styles and subjects.

Interview

Renderosity: You've won VOM several times over the last few years, what is the secret to your success? I know the quality of your work is very high, but you seem to have a finger on the pulse of what people are interested in? How do you do it?

StudioArtVartanian: first of all thanks so much once again, for this great honor, I would like to express a Huge Thanks to Renderosity community, for their trust and continuing support all of these years! Yes you are right about this, its not only the quality, and the endless hours of work, Im keeping communication with my clients to see what they need for their artwork, Im watching the galleries to see what they love to render, and which of my products they enjoy more. Also I take advises, requests and suggestions from my fellow vendor friends and my Rendo staff friends, You can get great Ideas communicating with other artists! Its all about the community :)

How long does a typical product take for you to create from idea to posting in your store and what tools do you use?

The minimum time I need to complete a product, its more than a month. Blacksmith 3D suite for texturing and detailed morphing, Hexagon for modeling and morphing, Photoshop for texturing and painting. Sometime ZBrush for my DSP maps and some touch ups, All Poser versions after Poser 7, Mostly Poser 2014 and lately Poser Pro 11, DS 4.8 for my Daz Studio compatible products, plus many little utility programs and scripts.

How has Renderosity made a difference in your work?

Renderosity is my home, after all this years, Renderosity evolved my work, I've met wonderful people from all over the world, we exchange ideas and techniques. Its a privilege to have a place like Rendo, to feel comfortable to create and work!

Do you have any favorite works you've created? What are they?

I don't have any current favorite, I enjoyed creating each one of them, I think I love them all:)

Advice for someone who wants to get into selling digital art and assets?

Work on projects that inspire you, work with your heart and truly enjoy what you're creating. Thanks again!

Best!

Jo
