nickcharles · May 22, 2006 12:00 am

Each month the Renderosity community votes on The Renderosity Artist Of The Month [AOM] ... June's AOM will be an artist from the Mixed Medium or Digital Comics Galleries.

If you are unfamiliar with the artwork of our nominees, please take a few moments to look over their galleries. Please consider the entire body of work by each nominee. Click on the names below to view their respective gallery. Voting will run for one week, with the results posted shortly thereafter.

Artist of the Month is highlighting a talented Renderosity artist that has been nominated by mods and admins, and voted by the community. Recognition is given to this member for their collection of works for that year.

Since we only select one AOM per month, it is not about their works for that particular month. Instead, it is about highlighting a talented artist's works for that year, and they are recognized during that month.

To learn more about Renderosity's Artist Of The Month [AOM] award, and to view our past AOM's, please visit the AOM 2006 page, which can also be found on the sidebar under Highlights.

Hard, very hard to choose this time, a lot of talent and very diferent styles, and the best part is admiring at galleries where the autors dare to call their works as mixed medium and not poser or render works due the heavy postwork and this is very positive!

John (qmont) has for years deserved ths title. I know and visit him at his home and have his company at my home as well. I know that he is a caring, well rounded person. I have admired John's talent since he started with chalks. His talents amaze me but, when he sits down and uses his painting skills in it's pure form then brings it to the digital atmosphere you can really see and feel his emotion. That his heart goes into that work and he cares what it says to who is looking at it. Cheers John and GOOD LUCK !!

John was one of the first artists I found here...he has always touched my heart and soul with his art...has a way of capturing moods and feelings no one else can...sometimes not always the same meaning as his when he created the image, but as strong...with me "Goodbye Girl" is a perfect example...As Jerry said...he has deserved this for quite some time....WAY TO GO JOHN on being nominated! HUUUGE HUGS and vote! BGGQ-Gin

Voting for just one of these artists is a difficult decision as each has their own unique style and imagination in each image. I had to go back and look at each gallery more than once before voting.... the talent found in each one is staggering. Good luck to all the nominees.
