November, 2016, Vendor of the Month:
Our Vendor of the Month (VOM) for November, 2016, is Pretty3D. With nearly 100 very sexy creations in his store, Pretty3D is a very skilled artist. He has a particular gift for creating provocative female figures in a wide variety of settings and poses. A quick look through his excellent storefront will give you an idea of why he was selected as the vendor of the month: all of his creations are detailed and well-executed in addition to being imaginative variations on the female warrior and femme fatale (and more).
We had a chance to chat with Pretty3D and asked him about his background and working methods.
Interview with Pretty3D
Renderosity: Congratulations on getting the Vendor of Month award! How does that make you feel?
Pretty3D: Thank you very much indeed, I'm proud of to get this award. No matter what we do, it is you customers who say the final word. And this is the most important factor of motivation for me to create new products.
How long have you been a vendor at Renderosity and how did you get started?
Pretty3D: I guess I've been a vendor of Renderosity since 2003. 3D modelling was my hobby, but one day when I was looking for something in the internet I saw that these 3d models could be sold on the internet. Then I wanted to try. I import one of my model to poser and release at Renderosity. I got a very good sales number that unexpected. So that, my hobby gets my job. ;)
Give us a little background on your life and adventures!
Pretty3D: I am 42 years old. I have a got a beautiful wife and a very cute 11 years old daughter.. We are like friends with my daughter and she is my best adventure in mylife. ;)
What is the typical workflow on an item you create for your store? What applications do you generally use?
Pretty3D: First of all, I imagine what will I do then I pass to modelling stage. After I finish the outline of the model I make the textures of the model and then I take some test renders. If it is ok then I make the details, and morphs. I use many different methods for making morph because of getting more realistic movements ability. After morphs, I make texture details and pack it. I use 3D Studio Max for modelling, Adobe Photoshop CS6 for mappinp and also some little softwares help me for working.

Do you have a few favorites in your gallery or store? Can you tell us a little bit about them?
Pretty3D: Every time, my favorite product is the last product because I am getting more experience while making each product.
Do you have any advice for someone who wants to become a vendor at Renderosity?
Pretty3D: I recommend to beginners to pay attention to details. They must ask to themselves; what kind of things that is important when they buy something from the store. Think about it and try to make models without any mistake and don't forget every product is the reference of the following one.
Anything else you'd like to share about your self?
Pretty3D: I want to thank to all Renderosity family for all supports and helps. I love you very much, especially Jennifer ;)
