The Renderosity Gallery of the Week for April 11, 2016, is the
Rhino 3D Gallery
Rhino 3D ( often referred to as simply,"Rhinoceros") is easy-to-use 3D graphics and CAD application that primarily uses the NURBS mathematical model for it's technique. Developed and owned by McNeel North America, the application is a favorite at Renderosity. With over 20 years of development, Rhinoceros 3D is currently in version 5 (for windows and mac).
What separates Rhinoceros from other 3D application is it's careful focus on NURBS modeling, it's simplicity and the company's willingness to make the application compatible with other 3D apps along with a very strong user-base. Renderosity artists, as you can see below, use Rhinoceros for a wide variety of modeling projects, although there is a strong focus on design.
For more information about Rhinoceros be sure to visit the website and check out the demo there. Renderosity has a Rhinoceros forum you can visit and there are many Rhinoceros-created digital assets in the Renderosity Martketplace.
And visit the Rhino 3D gallery at Renderosity.com (moderated by UVDan) to view more work by Rhinoceros artists.
