For the week of September 28, 2015, we take a look at the works of art created by Renderosity members posting in the Fractals Gallery .

The Fractal Gallery is my favorite at Renderosity. Fractal art "is a form of algorithmic art created by calculating fractal objects and representing the calculation results as still images, animations, and media." according to the Wikipedia. Essential it's an art form that gauges the skill of the artist by how well he/she can work the algorithms of the particular fractal program they are using into something that is unique and one of a kind. It takes a lot of experimenting and testing to get the right combination of shapes and colors.

I like Fractal art because it requires so much improvisation and poetic skill from the artist. Be sure to stop by the Fractal art forum at Renderosity to learn more. I've chosen 12 artists to represent the range of styles and effects that are achieved by renderosity artists in the Fractal art Gallery.
