  • Gallery of the week is Urban/Cityscape Genre. This genre is very popular at Renderosity with literally thousands of works being created each week. The rise of dystopian fiction/cinema has fueled a renewed interest in this subject. Photography is the primary mode for this genre, but there are many excellent landscapes and models as well.

  • gToon reviews a new graphic novel: Beowulf by Santiago Garcia and David Rubin. Adapted from the epic poem, Beowulf is a remarkable work that honors the themes and story of the original.

  • Adobe Kicks off Premiere Pro's 25th Anniversary with Imagine Dragons Contest. The competition is the first of its kind, granting fans access to a wide range of uncut footage from the official music video of Imagine Dragons' hit song "Believer." Using these clips and Premiere Pro, aspiring video creators and professionals alike can cut their own original version, and the winner can claim a grand prize of $25,000.

  • Photoshop Training: Part 2 Color of the Year Tutorial. In part one of this tutorial we looked at matching the Pantone Color of The Year, Greenery, on to a coffee cup by using the Hue blending mode.In this follow up tutorial, we will use and advanced method using use the Lab Color Mode and a Curves Adjustment layer to precisely match the Greenery color to a red couch.
