Description
Iknow I did wrong on the exposer [f-stop] on the camera. high lights blown and all. I came out of some shadows of trees takeing some shots ofsome tough birds. Too tough to eat that for sure. I post them later.
Anyway i cut off the legs of my modell. She was there and all I did was ask to pose in front of the car. i cut the front wheel off too in the shot. plus the rear of the car. i had to deal with the outhouses and the whole image was sharp so I wish for the car and modell to be the focus point I did what most people do and fuzz out the background some.
I try to clone out the outhouses but it was not doing good so I copy some of the bricks and paste them over the outhouses. I sure of did that after I fuzz out the background I had to go back and fuzz out each of the pastes I did about 8 to 10 of them. I then try to get all the edges to blend in and you see the hood of the car if messed up and the frent too. i took out a corner of the building
with some windows lol. it all messed up to began with. please tell what else is wrong with the image. I do not mind at all. may help someone else to learn what not to do and what to lok for. That why Idid dthis. Plus I like her smile too;that came out right.

lol, back the car up so the hood covers the outhouse, oh wait you might run into the fence, I am not sure but what you did with copying the bricks and pasting them is a good attempt. How about paste a poster to the wall?? stunning car by the way!

Don't worry too much about the outhouses Jocko, we all use them, it's a fact of life. Unless you are getting paid I wouldn't over worry about the background at one of these car shows, most are held on carparks and we get fences and bay markings that can't be helped. You lost a bit of the hood when trying to clone out the portaloo as well, but the young lady will make most people miss that bit. Lol. I think she took your mind of things as well a little bit, I think thats why you cut the bottom of the wheel off. Lol. Overall you didn't do too bad in my oppinion. It's a public event and you can't ask everybody to get out of the way, or arrange things the way you would like them to be. On occasions like this we just have to go with the flow. I think you did OK under the circumstances. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

Its still a great shot!!!! There's enough going on in the foreground to distract the viewer from the background... who cares about the facilities, or the guy behind... or ever the car for that matter... the waitress is perfect!

Jock, my man, it's okay to cut off legs of people just as long as it isn't at a joint, such as knees or ankles. You did a pretty good blur job on the background, and cloning out the blue structure in the middle, so nothing wrong there. I do it all the time. Also, if you use Photoshop, it would be advantageous to use the Shadow/Highlight image tool when it comes to shadowed areas, such as the front of the model and the engine compartment of the car. Otherwise, pretty good POV, colors and overall lighting in this shot, my friend.

Kool postworkings, making the toilet disappear is just like Chris Angel magic ! All I can suggest, is that maybe you could have rotated the camera a bit to the left, then we would see her feet and the back of the car...? Anyhow nice work & ~Cheers~

looks like a 64 Ford.the lady is awesome and the car is a Ford, but still beautiful.very hard to avoid undesirable backgrounds. I do the same thing of forgetting to revert to a better choice of lens adjustments

The first thing I notice is wrong is it has a four barrel. If it is a 61 it ought to have the 406/402 threee carb cast aluminum air cleaner that Greenfield Village sells as a model, and if it is a 62 it ought to have the dual four barrel with similar air cleaner on a 427. How about a 63 with a cammer? The good thing is she is not sitting on the hood caving it in. Choosing an object that will all fit in the frame and allow a figure as focus while pushing out all background space is tough. Next time try a commercial airliner or better still a ocean liner or a streamlined train. You'll figure out where the movies fit in and even get some good waterfall footage. Then you're ready for a skyscraper or the Vertical Assembly Building at the Cape.

It's good to get the practice with fixing the photo, and you did a pretty good job on the whole, since it's the smile and the chrome of the car that are the focus. But still, I kind of like the original best because then it's a totally candid shot.
