Description

In the midst of the park is the bird- and wild animal shelter. There they already had 2 stork tenants, a boy and a girl, both disabled. She was brought in last, with half of her wing ripped off and bleeding heavily, perhaps from crashing into a wind turbine or a transmission tower? They were separated. He was living inside, she on the 'fly away-meadow', cuz he kept pushing her into the pond LOL stork girl 'here'... 'impressionist' pic, cuz could be sharper & don't u love the noise?! (it was fairly dark when I shot it) & other pics 'here': http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Album=YCZVBIIY pics-with-the-washed-out-white while pa stork was chasing her

Wow .. it's an awesome pic, even zoomed not at all as bad as you think! I think it's a lovely work just short of photographic perfection, but how often do all our shots come out perfect? I love this one, and for sure it's worthy of framing!

You're stalking the storks, I see....LOL. Simply outstanding clarity, contrast and color in this marvo portrait of the injured avian, Angie. I didn't know storks had red beaks.

We could visit the storks every year when I lived in the north-west of the country - unfortunately, they don't come around here :-)
