Description

I'm in lack of original ideas these days, so I try to improve my technique... ;o) I hope you will like this one. Original render size : 4800x2700. It took about 26 hours to render with an Athlon 1900XP. Yeah ! Here are the settings for the 3D clouds, if you are interested : sky size 500000, altitude 6000m, depth/thickness 2, darkening 50%, density contrast 12, density shift 40, persistence 35, size 5 (middle), colors R/G/B 24/32/56. Be careful : with these settings, the sky is very, very long to render ! But it's worth the waiting, isn't it ? And for the red decay : 30% at 2610m, colors R/G/B 226/112/28. One of the best 3D cloud atmos I have seen in some time! Water & surfaces are top-notch, too! Do not be discouraged - I think all of us get in a TG slump every once in awhile.

Beautiful, synamic atmosphere; realistic light and a delicious mood..and I love the lcouds. Gorgeous rich colors, and the water is superb. Thanks for the tips!
