Description

I have had the V5I trial version on CD since it came out in 3D World and have been a bit afraid of trying it mostly because I know I still can't aford the real thing and partialy just because it seemed quite imposing as far as what it can do and what I figured I would need to know to utilize any of its vast power. Oh well I installed it, spent 15 minutes on it and this is what happened. Its not terribly exciting but I really liked the rocks on the sand and the clearity of the water in the foreground. The middle and background is just there to support the really cool rocks and water. Vue 5 Infinite Trial

Looks great already! The realism can't be beat. I suspect it kicks the ass of Bryce 5.5. I'm intrigued by Vue Infinite with Ecosystem, but don't have $500. Now I don't know which version to get. There's about 3 or 4.

Hey, getting a cool image like that after 15 minutes is really very nifty! I like the eco rocks in the stream, the vegetation and the sky. I think you'll love the trial, Randy. Have fun!

I'm not too fond of the default "chipped" material for eco rocks, but Infinite is so powerful in material creation, that you'll get your own great mats pretty soon! In 15mn, I as never able to do a scene like this when I started Vue. Which is bad news for your financial situation: you may have to buy it! Admit it: you're hooked already!
